What Makes a Car Certified?

There are strict guidelines about which MINI vehicles we can certify. Most importantly:

• The vehicle must be less than five years old.
• The MINI has driven less than 60,000 miles.
• There are three different inspections that the vehicle must pass. A body condition and mechanical inspection are the two biggest, followed by a tire, wheel, and brake inspection. We fit replacement parts as necessary.
• Road tests are performed, but not only to ensure the vehicle drives and stops safely. We also look at features like the navigation system, seat controls, and mirror operation to ensure everything is operating correctly.

Only after the vehicle meets these prerequisites can we then certify the vehicle as a MINI Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. The technician, service manager, and Certified Pre-Owned Manager all need to approve the vehicle, so you can be sure we won't miss a thing!
